Countdown: 7 Days

New York Taxi Rules: 1. Driver speaks no English. 2. Driver just got here two days ago from someplace like Segal. 3. Driver hates you.

- Dave Barry

Just 6 working days counting this one! Woohoo!

People are saying that they're worried about what will happen when I leave here, but they're not actually doing anything that indicates that their fear is real. I think it's clear that they are just liars.

That's ok, though. I am sooooo over this place. And I am sooooo excited about the new place.

I may have found a property manager for my house. I've found a buyer for my car. And I'm headed up to NYC this weekend to look at apartments. Everything is coming together!

Yehaw!

I think there are several explanations:
they are A:worried about their own well-being a/k they will miss you, which can cause pain,no one likes pain....so selfishness, may be the factor.
B: I mean you are going from boonies in Hick town to the BIG APPLE.Things happen in the Big Apple, people disapear...poeple get hurt etc..so people are genuinely worried about you but then again....whos is going to stop you?
Anyone with a little common sense knows you are serious so,what do you want them to do?
Don't forget,Southerners are not made to beg.LOL
And then there is C:
The concern about losing contact over such distance.Think about it,one can live across town and not see or hear from each other for YEARS!However,I may add that the phone/email/such things work BOTH ways.

So now next time anyone outs concern, just got play Freud and come up with some cool, psychological evaluation for them.:-))))
