The Atlanta Fox News station has a special running tonight for which I just heard a commercial. The narrator said, "Was this woman lured into sex by her bishop?" and then the woman says, "I thought I was serving God. I did it with all of my heart."

Ok. Are people REALLY this stupid? I might have to watch the local news to see what this is about because I really can't see how a person would fall for this. I wouldn't at least.

Will someone please go out to a bar next weekend and try to get a woman to have sex by telling them god wants it to happen? Report back here and let me know how it goes.

I will readily admit that I am a bit out of the loop on lots of things. Apparently, my childhood was spent in relative isolation from the majority of modern civilization. I thank the fact that no cable company has ever undertaken to expand to the area in which I lived.

So, one of the things I never heard until I was an adult was this crazy rumor that Daddy Long Legs are the most poisonous spider in the whole world.

Guess what? We don't know that it is according to what I've just read on The Straight Dope and I would say that it's probably not.

So, please stop saying this.
